My second frame from CF, third is on the way
Framing is a fickle thing, especially when you’re working with uncommon sizes; custom framing can get very pricy, very fast, and it’s simply not worth the money or time—especially if you’re like me and already spent enough on the print you’re wanting to frame! Seeking a solution, I found Craig frames. First, I found them through Michaels, then went to them direct. The size I needed first, was a 24 x 34, or so I thought. I bought the frame, it came, it was perfect. There was one problem though, I had measured wrong by an inch. Unfortunate, but not an issue, the frame wound up used for a piece of proper dimensions! Then came this frame being reviewed, the ever obscure 23 x 34, the proper size for the aforementioned piece. It arrived and it was just what I needed, did the trick perfectly, and for under $65. To my point, framing yourself with an assist from Craig Frames will always beat out a custom frame job where they will almost certainly try to upsell you and take advantage. A frame job like this one I’m talking about, you wouldn’t get out of a Michaels for under $150 on a good day. Don’t bother with all that. Take matters into your own hands, your wallet will thank you. I look forward to my next frame, it should be here tomorrow, I’ve got a Nagel that I’ve been meaning to frame since 2018.
